2. When Keptyx processes data

Keptyx only processes screen context when you actively turn Help ON inside the app and send a request.When Help is OFF, Keptyx does not capture your screen and does not send screen context to the AI service.Some non-screen app functions, such as sign-in, subscription checks, billing, account refresh, or basic service requests, may contact Keptyx servers when you use those features.

3. Screen context

When you turn Help ON and send a message, Keptyx may capture single, on-demand screen frames to understand your current context and generate a helpful response.Keptyx does not:• record video• continuously capture your screen• run silent background screen monitoring• store screen context by default• store your screen context long-term on our servers• use your screen context for advertisingScreen context is used only to provide the app’s assistance features.

4. AI processing

To provide guidance, Keptyx may send relevant context, including your message and screen context, to a third-party AI service provider.This is necessary for the app to function.We aim to send only what is necessary to answer your request. Keptyx does not sell your data and does not use your data for advertising.

5. Account and session data

Keptyx may use account and session data to identify your subscription, trial status, and usage limits.If you sign in or use account-related features, we may process:• your email address• your account ID• your session token• trial status• subscription status• monthly usage or session countWe use this information to provide the service, manage access, enforce fair usage, prevent abuse or fraud, and support subscriptions.

6. Subscriptions and purchase data

Keptyx subscriptions may be processed by Apple on macOS or by Stripe on Windows.If you purchase a subscription, we may store:• your subscription provider• subscription status• transaction or customer reference• subscription expiry or renewal period• cancellation status where applicableWe do not store your full credit card details. Payments are processed by Apple or Stripe depending on the platform.

7. Free usage and trials

Keptyx may track:• whether you are in a trial• when your trial started or expires• how many free sessions you have used in a monthThis is necessary to provide trial access, enforce usage limits, and prevent abuse.

8. What Keptyx does not collect

Keptyx does not collect:• your address• your contacts• your precise location• your photos library• your microphone audio• your files unless you choose to attach them• your browsing history outside what is visible when you ask for helpKeptyx may process your email address only if you sign in or use account-related features.

9. Data security

We protect your data using reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, including encrypted communications, authentication, minimal data retention, and limited access to stored records.No system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, but we take care to reduce unnecessary data collection and protect the information required to operate Keptyx.

You can:• stop screen-context processing by turning Help OFF• avoid sending screen context by not starting Help• sign out of your account• uninstall the app at any time• contact us with questions about your data

11. Children

Keptyx is not intended for children or for anyone under the age required to use online services in their country without appropriate permission. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us.
